Expression of Interest are invited for Circular and Resilient Tourism on Small Islands and in Coastal Destinations Study. The Goal of The Project Is to Understand the Challengers To, and Opportunities For, Increasing Circular Economy Strategies and Practice Sin Pilot Countries, with A Particular Focus on The Tourism Sector and Reduction of Use and Improper Disposal of Single-Use Plastics. the Focus of The Project Is to Support National, Municipal Governments and The Private Sector to Implement Circular Economy Strategies Using Relevant Local Infrastructure in The Gambia, Sao Tome and Principe, and Cabo Verde. the Project Will Collect Critical Insights and Data from The Tourism Sector Operations on Circular Economy Potential as Well as Identify and Prioritize Constraints to Change. Overall, the Goal Is to Provide Concrete Recommendations on The Design of Public Policy, Infrastructure and Interventions to Enable a Shift Towards Circular Economy Strategies in The Three Target Countries, Focusing on Tourism and The Public/private Infrastructures (water, Energy, Transportation, Waste and Wastewater).
